Non Allowable Items (RexMoving.CA)

Common “non-allowable items” that REX Moving & Delivery Inc.  typically cannot transport due to safety, legal, or logistical reasons include:

1. Hazardous Materials: Items such as gasoline, propane tanks, paint, pesticides, and other flammable, corrosive, or explosive substances.

2. Perishable Foods: Items that can spoil or attract pests during transit, including fresh produce, frozen foods, and refrigerated items.

3. Plants: Living plants may not survive the moving process due to lack of light, water, and temperature variations. 

4. Valuables: Items of significant monetary or sentimental value, such as cash, jewelry, important documents, and collections (e.g., stamps, coins), are typically best kept with you during the move for security reasons.

5. Pets: Rex Moving & Delivery Inc does not transport live animals. Arrange for pet transport separately or transport your pets yourself.

6. Personal Items: Items that are irreplaceable or of personal significance should be kept with you, such as family photos, personal electronics, and important personal documents.

7. Weapons and Ammunition: Firearms, ammunition, and other weapons are subject to specific regulations and cannot be transported by Rex Moving & Delivery Inc. without proper licensing and compliance with BC laws.

8. Chemicals and Cleaning Supplies: Items like bleach, ammonia, and other cleaning agents may pose a hazard during transit and are generally not allowed.

9. Unregistered Vehicles: Vehicles that are not registered or lack proper documentation for transport cannot be moved by Rex Moving & Delivery Inc.

10. Expensive or Fragile Items: Items that are extremely fragile, excessively valuable, or difficult to replace (e.g., fine art, antiques, fragile glassware) may require special handling or additional insurance coverage.
